Overview

The new Continental GTC Azure is a convertible grand tourer designed to offer incredible levels of comfort and wellbeing, both for you and your passengers.

It looks incredible from the moment you first see it, with a bright chrome, vertical-vaned front grille taking centre-stage between the two stunning new headlamps – part of Bentley’s all-new single-headlamp face for the Continental GT and Continental GTC.

A wealth of technology works to improve the experience of everyone in the car, from the seats to the intelligent air conditioning system. And with the new High Performance Hybrid V8 powertrain, it combines all these features with the exhilarating power you expect from Bentley.

Design

The new Continental GTC Azure is designed to turn heads. Its chrome, vertical-vaned grille is flanked by headlamps featuring Bentley’s Harmony Crystal interior detailing – an intricate structure that scatters the light beautifully.

Beneath them, a black front splitter and chrome matrix lower grilles complete a refined yet contemporary face. Exclusive 22” Azure wheels can be specified in your choice of two finishes – one that combines silver painted and bright machined sections, and another painted entirely black. At the back of the car, the new tail lamps spring to life in a beautiful animation sequence, the moment you unlock the car.

Inside, you will see ‘Azure’ emblems on the Open Pore Crown Cut Walnut veneers of the fascia, and on the Nappa leather seats, which can be commissioned in your choice of 15 colours. The stitching reflects Bentley’s Harmony Diamond Quilt stitching pattern, while 3D Harmony Diamond Hide can be seen on the insides of the doors. The pillars and the inside of the fabric roof, meanwhile, are finished in Dinamica.

The switchgear and other metal components are finished in gleaming chrome, to match the detailing on the outside of the car. Alternatively, you can opt for the Dark Chrome Specification, which offers an impactful, sports-inspired look.

Performance

The new Continental GTC Azure is powered by Bentley’s new High Performance Hybrid powertrain, an innovative combination of a 4.0 litre turbocharged V8 engine with a powerful electric motor.

Together, they can deliver 671 bhp (680 PS) and 930 Nm (686 lb ft) of torque, which can take you from 0-60 mph in just 3.8 seconds (0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds) and on to a top speed of 168 mph (270 km/h). All this power is delivered with the refinement and comfort you would expect from one of the world’s most luxurious convertibles.

To make the driving experience safer, easier and more enjoyable for everyone in the car, the Continental GTC Azure is also equipped with an incredible package of chassis technology, including the Bentley Dynamic Ride anti-roll system, adaptive all-wheel drive and four-wheel steering.

Technology

The Continental GTC Azure features a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot, offering internet access for all your passengers. It also supports the wired and wireless versions of Android™ Auto and Apple CarPlay®, so you can safely access smartphone apps while in the car. For those who prefer not to connect their phones to the car, however, My Bentley App Studio enables you to install your choice of apps directly onto the car’s infotainment system. It offers a wide range of apps, from navigation to music and gaming.

In addition to the heating, ventilation and massage functions installed in the seats as standard, the front seats are equipped with two particularly innovative features to boost comfort and wellbeing. Postural Adjust uses air pockets within the seat to vary the pressure on your muscles, reducing stiffness and fatigue. Seat Auto Climate, meanwhile, uses sensors to monitor seat heat and humidity, then controls the heating and ventilation features automatically.

The air conditioning system can filter PM2.5 particles from the air, to keep you and your passengers safer from external pollution. It continuously compares the air quality inside the cabin with that outside, recycling the air inside if it is cleaner. It also models CO2 concentration inside the cabin, showing the results on the ‘Air Quality’ screen.

A wide range of driver assistance systems are installed as standard. For urban driving, they include parking assistance and collision avoidance systems, while for the open road, the Touring Specification* is a package that includes Adaptive Cruise Assist with Lane Guidance, Predictive Adaptive Cruise Assist, a head-up display and night vision.



Personalisation

You can choose from seven standard paint colours, however Bentley’s extended paint range and the Mulliner range of premium finishes will together take your choice to more than 80 colours. For the fabric roof, there are five solid colours to choose from – black, blue, grey, brown and claret – as well as silver and tweed. And when it comes to the wheels, you can choose from either of the two finishes available for the 22” Azure wheel fitted as standard, or browse the full range of optional wheels, many of which can be combined with Self-Levelling Wheel Badges by Mulliner.

For the inside of your car, you can choose from Bentley’s full range of 15 hide colours and, to inject extra flair, add contrast stitching to the upholstery. The veneered surfaces can be finished in your choice of finishes from a range that includes high-gloss wood, open-pore wood and ‘piano’ painted veneers, as well as technical finishes such as Engine Turned Aluminium, Carbon Fibre and Côtes de Genève.
