Overview

The new Continental GT Azure is a luxurious, powerful grand tourer designed to take the comfort and wellbeing of its occupants to the next level.

Easily identified thanks to its chrome, vertical-vaned grille and matching chrome exterior detailing, it features exclusive 22” Azure wheels in your choice of black or silver and bright machined finishes. The car is built on Bentley’s new High Performance Hybrid powertrain – an innovative combination of a V8 petrol engine and an advanced electric motor, which together offer refined yet exhilarating performance, together with reduced emissions and the option to drive on electric power alone.

Design

The new Continental GT Azure is a truly beautiful grand tourer. Its head-turning chrome, vertical-vaned front grille sits alongside Harmony Crystal headlamps, and above a black front splitter and chrome matrix lower grilles. In fact, all the exterior detailing features the same chrome finish, while the 22” Azure wheels are available in a choice of two finishes. One combines silver-painted surfaces with gleaming bright machined sections, while the other is painted entirely in black. The rear of the car is just as spectacular, with tail lamps that come to life in a smooth welcome sequence, the moment you unlock the car.

Inside, bright chrome detailing continues the luxurious theme established on the car’s sleek exterior, while ‘Azure’ emblems on the fascia and the seats make your car’s status clear. A panoramic sunroof, meanwhile, lets the daylight flood in from above

Open-Pore Crown Cut Walnut veneers are installed as standard, while the leather and Dinamica upholstery is available in your choice of 15 colours. You can opt to add an even more personal touch by ordering contrast stitching.

Performance

The new Continental GT Azure features Bentley’s High Performance Hybrid powertrain. This is a 4.0 litre, turbocharged V8 engine working together with a powerful electric motor, to deliver the combination of power and smooth, refined ride that Bentley has always been famous for. When the full might of the V8 engine and electric motor is unleashed, it results in a full 930 Nm of torque – enough to deliver acceleration from 0-60 mph in just 3.5 seconds (0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds) and a maximum speed of 168 mph (270 km/h).

The car can also drive on emission-free, near-silent electric power, with no input from the V8 engine at all. It can be driven for up to 50 miles (80 km) in this mode, reaching speeds of up to 87 mph (140 km/h).

Every car also comes with a range of advanced chassis systems. They include adaptive all-wheel drive, all-wheel steering and Bentley Dynamic Ride, a 48-volt anti-roll system. Together they make driving the Continental GT Azure a truly delightful experience.

For even more exhilarating performance, there is the Continental GT Speed and the Continental GT Mulliner, both of which feature Bentley’s Ultra Performance Hybrid powertrain.

Technology

The Continental GT Azure is packed with technology designed to increase your comfort and wellbeing – starting with the seats. As well as the heating, ventilation and massage functions that are standard in all cars in this range, the front seats are equipped with Postural Adjust – which uses air pockets to vary the pressure on your muscles, reducing fatigue – and Seat Auto Climate, which detects changes in seat temperature and humidity, and responds accordingly.

The air conditioning system is equally impressive, with the ability to filter out harmful PM2.5 particles. It can model CO2 concentration inside the car, displaying the results on the touchscreen. And it continuously compares the air quality inside the car with the air outside, automatically switching to recirculation mode if necessary. It can even detect when you are approaching a tunnel and switch to recirculation mode in advance.

When it comes to driver assistance systems, the Continental GT Azure has everything you need to enjoy safe, effortless driving, whether you are in town or out on the open road. As well as parking assistance, night vision and a head up display, it includes Adaptive Cruise Assist Plus with Lane Guidance, plus Predictive Adaptive Cruise Assist, which can help manage your speed, even after leaving the highway.

The car has a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot as well as the wired and wireless versions of Android™ Auto and Apple CarPlay®. You can also download apps directly onto the car’s infotainment system, thanks to the new My Bentley App Studio.



Personalisation

In addition to its incredible standard specification, the Continental GT Azure offers an incredible opportunity for personalisation.

There are seven standard exterior colours to start with, however that choice grows to more than 80 finishes when you also consider Bentley’s extended range and the premium finishes available from Mulliner.

There are two standard 22” Azure wheel finishes to choose from, however alternatives abound, with a wide range of 21” and 22” wheels available – some of which can be combined with Self-Levelling Wheel Badges by Mulliner.

For the interior, you can choose from Bentley’s entire range of 15 hide colours, both for your primary and secondary hides, not to mention the Dinamica sections on the roof and pillars. And when it comes to veneers, you can choose from a selection of high-gloss woods, open-pore woods and high-gloss ‘piano’ painted veneers in a choice of colours. There is also a range of technical finishes on offer, including Carbon Fibre, Engine Turned Aluminium and Côtes de Genève.
